I am an executive leader, policymaker, educator, elected trustee, and advisor with more than three decades of experience working at the intersection of children and families, education, government, nonprofit leadership, and public policy.

My career has taken me from classrooms and school communities to the California Legislature, state government, nonprofit advocacy, and executive leadership. Across those roles, I have worked with governing boards, executives, policymakers, advocates, funders, educators, families, and communities to navigate complex challenges and translate ambitious ideas into action.

What I bring to clients is not simply technical expertise. I understand what it means to lead from different seats at the table—and how differently the same challenge can look from each one.
